Two dead in traffic accident on I-25 north of a Border Patrol checkpoint

DONA ANA COUNTY, New Mexico (KVIA) – Two people were killed in a crash involving a tractor-trailer on I-25 this afternoon. The collision occurred about 10 miles north of the border checkpoint.

New Mexico DPS officials say the investigation is still ongoing. They could not confirm which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the crash.
