Red Dead Redemption 3 is panned by fans

As unusual as it is to see the words “fan-roasted” and “Red Dead Redemption” in the same sentence, the franchise is actually facing some interesting criticism from its fanbase.

Most of us love Red Dead Redemption because it’s such a detailed Rockstar game. Even though it’s six years old, we still find hidden bosses and neat horse tricks.

However, when fans look to the future of this Rockstar Games series, they are not considering the worst case scenario that could happen next.

We stay with the outlaw life in Red Dead Redemption 2if you do not mind

In a post by Independent_Tea_, the goal of the game is to “make the worst RDR3 You can continue.” Of course, Reddit does its thing and is as cursed as possible.

Buckle up, because things are about to get uncomfortably weird.

A suggestion from UncensoredSmoke reads: “Jack in 1950 is addicted to crack. The whole game is about him joining the mafia just to get more crack. At the end of the game he has a hallucination of Micah and kills himself.”

A strong start.

As we dig deeper, we find a pretty depressing story waiting to be told by Stormpoopers246. “You play as the girl who dies in the Black Water Massacre and then you play as her daughter who dies in Red Dead 1“‘s Black Water Mission with Dutch,” they suggest.

Others don’t use their imagination to paint a grim picture, but use reality to set the next game too far in the future.

User PIERObarza said: “To be honest, any story that deals with what happened to Jack after RDR1. Since the action must take place sometime after 1914, the game would be a Western in name only.”

This all sounds unappealing, although that was exactly the goal of the game. It’s not Rockstar’s game, it’s Reddit’s.

Hopefully we won’t have to listen to a real fight from the fans about the sequel any time soon; we’re not strong enough for that.
