Three people arrested in Adams County for allegedly trafficking Roxicodone

ADAMS COUNTY, Mississippi (WJTV) – Adams County officials said they arrested three men while exchanging hundreds of pills containing fentanyl.

Arthur Grayson of Natchez, Quentin Pollard of St. Francisville, Louisiana, and Alphonse Lewis of St. Francisville, Louisiana, were arrested in the early morning hours of July 3, 2024, at the intersection of Lower Woodville Road and Grove Acres. They are accused of trafficking Roxicodone.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said the three men were arrested while exchanging 652 Roxicodone tablets. He said agents also seized $2,727 and confiscated two trucks.

Agents also executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Highway 61 South and seized records, a Zosi DVR, the VIN of a 2018 Ford F-150, a 2015 Ford F-350, a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2006 Honda Goldwing, a 2007 Ford F-150, a 2006 International Rollback, a 2014 International, and $283.

Patten said this was the third time officers executed a search warrant at Grayson’s home and arrested him for selling Roxicodone. The sheriff said Grayson was arrested on April 15, 2022, for trafficking Roxicodone and a Cadillac Escalade was seized. Grayson was also arrested on January 4, 2024, for allegedly selling Roxicodone.

Patten said the Roxicodone pills sold by the suspects were not pharmaceutical-grade pressed pills.

“These pills contain fentanyl and who knows what else. These are the pills that are killing people all over our country. The profit margin on these pills is astronomical. They cost less than a dollar to produce and these special pressed pills are sold as Roxicodone 30 milligrams and can be sold for $30 per pill. That gives an approximate street value of $19,560 for the pills seized in this arrest,” Patten said.
