TAYLOR MILL, KY — An investigation is ongoing after a police officer shot and killed a man in Northern Kentucky on Sunday.

A Covington Police spokesman said Taylor Mill police responded to reports that someone threatened a family member with a knife on Grand Avenue in Taylor Mill.

Officers encountered the suspect in the house threatening someone with a knife, after which a shot was fired, police said.

According to our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati, the person’s identity and condition have not yet been released.

The investigation is being conducted by the Kentucky State Police.
