YSL Affiliate Woody Allegedly Murdered in Atlanta During RICO Trial

There is a lot of speculation going around online right now due to the alleged murder of YSL band member Woody, allegedly named Tay. Additionally, this discussion is happening due to Woody’s involvement as a witness in the Young Thug and YSL RICO trial, and how people are claiming there must be a connection here. We want to clarify that there is little confirmation as to whether a shooting victim is actually an associate of the YSL member, and any theories as to why this attack occurred are purely speculative and unrelated to the case at the time of publication. The tragedy occurred in southwest Atlanta early Sunday morning (June 30) at an apartment complex on Peyton Place, off Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and police have not reported any other injuries.

Additionally, the latest update we received regarding YSL Woody and Young Thug’s lawsuit involves theories as to why Thug may not have paid Woody’s legal fees. These rumors hit the internet thanks to 1090 Jake’s recent interview with DJ Vlad on Vlad TVand these reports are still unconfirmed as of this writing. There has been much back and forth as to whether or not Woody will testify in this case, which has naturally sparked a heated debate around the idea of snitching. In both cases, the narrative has been unfortunate, though predictable given the circumstances of these alleged crimes.

YSL Woody Affiliate Reportedly Shot Dead

Meanwhile, others are focusing instead on a very interesting recent tweet from Young Thug. “Whateva wham say goes,” Thugger sent, and “Wham” is his nickname for Lil Baby. As you probably know, Baby has been critical of Gunna for some time now, a former close partner still at YSL who many have leveled accusations of snitching at after his plea deal in this trial. Did the Atlanta trap pioneer co-sign one of his protégé’s attacks on another, or does that have nothing to do with the case?

Regardless, we still have to see what happens next with this mysterious murder, and if there is any real connection to YSL Woody here. There are also rumors that Thug’s brother Unfoonk will be revealing some major information soon. Many fans have raised eyebrows at his thoughts about needing to “set the record straight,” considering he also took a plea deal. It’s a pretty confusing and concerning case, so we’ll see what happens.
