William Wallace arrested after search of his Fallbrook home on Steward Canyon Road

FALLBROOK, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) – A convicted felon was arrested Thursday in North County on suspicion of several weapons offenses, authorities said.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, officers were conducting a domestic violence investigation at a home in the 700 block of Steward Canyon Road in Fallbrook around 8 a.m.

During a search of the home, officers found two handguns, an assault rifle and two privately manufactured firearms, also known as ghost guns. These types of weapons do not have serial numbers or other identifiable markings, authorities said.

William James Wallace, a 46-year-old convicted felon, was arrested without incident. The department confirmed he was booked into the Vista Detention Facility on multiple charges, including domestic violence, illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition, and possession of an unaccountable firearm.
