Tennessee murder suspect taken to hospital

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio (WJW) – Agents with the State Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the North Ridgeville Police Department are investigating a police-involved shooting that occurred Wednesday evening.

Police sources tell the FOX 8 I-Team the shooting involved a man wanted on a murder warrant out of Tennessee. Details of the incident have not yet been released.

We have reached out to North Ridgeville Police for more information.

The officers were not injured.

The suspect was taken to the hospital.

Steve Irwin, press secretary for Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, told the I-Team that the BCI’s Crime Scene Unit and Special Investigations Unit are responding to the scene.
