Palace: British Princess Anne in hospital after “incident”

(LONDON) — Britain’s Princess Anne was hospitalized following an “incident” in Gatcombe Park on Sunday evening, Buckingham Palace said on Monday.

The princess was treated at Southmead Hospital in Bristol on Monday as a “precautionary measure,” the palace said. “She is expected to make a full and speedy recovery,” the statement continued.

“The King has been fully informed and joins the entire Royal Family in conveying his deepest love and best wishes for a speedy recovery to the Princess,” the palace said in a statement.
