Stolen truck recovered after car theft in Lower Richland

COLUMBIA, SC — Columbia police have recovered a stolen truck following a carjacking in the Lower Richland area Sunday afternoon.

Officials said the incident began when the victim’s vehicle was stolen in the 4000 block of Ulmer Street near Leesburg Road. Authorities said the suspects were armed at the time. Police said they have since located the truck and are currently actively investigating the case and looking for any suspicious individuals.
