Teen arrested in connection with 2023 double murder – NBC4 Washington

According to DC police, a 17-year-old teenager was arrested and charged in connection with the killing of a 23-year-old man in March 2023.

On March 7, 2023, police responded to a shooting in the 2700 block of Bruce Place in Southeast DC. According to DC Police, two men were injured by gunshot wounds.

One of the men, Dana Faulkner, 23, was shot at the scene. The second man was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shortly thereafter, police found an injured person at the intersection of Wheeler Road and Mississippi Avenue, according to Washington DC police. 15-year-old Abdul Fuller was found with life-threatening gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital but later died there, police said.

According to the Washington DC Police Department’s investigation, Fuller was injured in the shooting at Bruce Place.

According to police, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested a 19-year-old man on December 21, 2023. He is accused of first-degree armed murder.

According to Washington DC police, another suspect was arrested in Florida on June 21. A 17-year-old from Washington DC was charged with second-degree armed murder for killing Faulkner in 2023.

After his extradition from Florida, he was taken to the Metropolitan Police Department’s Juvenile Processing Center.

Police are also offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
