Delaware State Police investigate car crash involving biker in Sussex County | Latest News

MILLSBORO, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a car crash involving a biker in Sussex County Saturday morning.

On Saturday, June 22nd, at approximately 11:15 a.m., the Indian River Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of John J. Williams Highway and Plaza Drive in Millsboro, Delaware.

According to IRVFC, the alert was described as follows: “Child on a bicycle struck by a white Jeep Wagoneer.”

Other alerts included “Mid Sussex Rescue Squad, Sussex County Paramedics and Delaware State Police Aviation Unit – Trooper 2.”

Officials said emergency teams were conducting patient assessments and canceling additional rescue, flight and firefighting personnel.
