Police investigate Atlanta shooting in which only witness was 9-year-old – WSB-TV Channel 2

Police said the shooting happened at 11:10 p.m., when two men got into an argument in an apartment and escalated into violence.

One man shot the other several times, according to APD, then fled. The police are now looking for him.

APD said the shooting victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries and was stable when taken to an ambulance.

An APD spokesperson said Channel 2 Action News that the victim was operated on.

The only witness to the incident was a 9-year-old child, police said.
