Due to an accident, I-26 was closed near US-21 in Lexington County

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC — Due to an accident, all lanes of a section of I-26 East in Lexington County are closed.

According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT), the accident occurred around 7:25 p.m. on I-26 eastbound near mile marker 129/US-21 in Lexington County.

Currently all lanes are closed.
