Bikers attack security guard in Hollywood

A violent incident between a group of bikers and a private security guard was caught on video in Hollywood on Sunday.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to the area of ​​Sunset Boulevard and Western Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. following reports of an attack with a deadly weapon, possibly following a traffic accident, authorities said.

A video posted on social media by Street People of Beverly Hills shows several bikers attacking an SUV belonging to the security service ADT, stealing items from the vehicle and then driving away.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, one person was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. There was also a charge of vandalism, police said.

It is unclear whether anyone suffered serious injuries as no further details were released.
