(KION-TV) – Thirteen police officers have lost their jobs following recent scandals within the Antioch Police Department, according to a report from the Bay Area News Group.

Emails recently obtained by the news organization show what police commanders told Antioch city leaders. The emails detailed the 13 jobs lost at APD. Seven people were fired from their positions within the department following a racist text message scandal.
