IMPD investigates fatal accident in northwest Indy

INDIANAPOLIS – An investigation is ongoing after one person was killed in a car crash in northwest Indy on Thursday evening.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 4800 block of North Michigan Road around 10:58 p.m. after receiving reports that a serious car crash had occurred in the area.

The IMPD has not confirmed the number of people affected or the total number of vehicles involved in the accident.

The IMPD Fatal Accident Investigation Team is currently on site investigating the circumstances of the accident.
