Atlanta is a finalist for new graduates launching careers

School is out for the summer and recent college graduates are planning their next moves. Those entering the workforce would be hard-pressed to find a better environment than Atlanta to start a career, according to a new study from CoworkingCafe, which ranked the city No. 2 among large cities for new graduates.

Atlanta, which fell one spot from last year’s ranking due to a 6 percent unemployment rate for 20- to 29-year-olds, performed well in other indicators, benefiting from a cost relatively low living standards, a high median income of $79,914 for graduates and 69% of jobs. provide health insurance.
