Convicted felon arrested on ammunition charges in Tulare County | YourCentralValley.com

LINDSAY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A convicted felon was arrested in Lindsay for allegedly possessing 40 boxes of live ammunition and mail from homes in Tulare County, Lindsay police said.

Officers said they received a report of a suspicious person in the county near Exeter around 4 a.m. Monday, near Myer Drive and Route 228. The person, driving a red Honda Accord, was observed looking into parked vehicles.


An officer said he saw the vehicle enter the city near Hickory Street and Parkside Avenue while on general patrol. The driver was identified as 41-year-old Aisai See, according to police. See had a Tulare County warrant for his arrest for being under the influence of a controlled substance and was taken into custody.

When searching the vehicle, investigators found a .22 caliber rifle and a .357 Magnum revolver. The revolver had previously been reported stolen. In addition, See, a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of over 40 boxes of live ammunition and mail from various homes in the area.

Investigators say he was also under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Tulare County Jail.
