Tragic ATV accident claims life of seven-year-old in Chattooga County

A tragic off-road vehicle accident occurred Saturday morning at the intersection of Garvin Road and Echols Road in the Menlo area of ​​Chattooga County.

“This morning, emergency personnel were called to the scene of a fatal ATV accident on private property in the area of ​​Garvin and Echols Road. The sole driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene,” Sheriff Schrader said in a press release.

Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader reported that a seven-year-old child from another town was the only person involved in the ATV accident and was fatally injured.
