Employee killed by cow at Flack Farm in Lisbon city

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) On June 9, the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Flack Farm in the Town of Lisbon for a report of the accidental death of a farm worker.

Through investigation, police found that the employee was trying to care for a newborn calf when a nearby cow charged at her and struck her several times.

The woman was taken to Claxton Hepburn Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The investigation is still ongoing and an autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
