Flack Broadcasting – Boonville man ‘held’ on multiple charges after reported threatening incident

CITY OF BOONVILLE– A 57-year-old Boonville man was taken into custody following a report of a threatening incident in the Town of Boonville Saturday morning. New York State Police at Remsen Barracks charged Franklin D. Potter with one count each of menacing in the 2ndand Degree, a Class D misdemeanor: Reckless Endangerment in 1st Degree, a Class D felony. He was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the 4th.th Degree – Convicted felon, a Class A misdemeanor and criminal possession of a weapon in the 2ndand Loaded weapon, a Class C felony. Potter’s arrest status was listed as “held” Sunday morning. State police have not released any further details.
