Palace rejects attempt to suspend Garcia

CEBU CITY – The Office of the President has rejected the request of Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama for a preventive suspension of Cebu Provincial Governor Gwendolyn Garcia.

In a copy of the decision published on Saturday by Sugbo News, the social media outlet of the provincial capital Cebu, Malacañang, after a preliminary assessment of the complaint, said that the allegations made by Rama against the governor were not sufficient to justify the issuance of the sought order.
