The number of Palestinians killed in the Israeli genocidal war in Gaza, which began on October 7, has now reached 36,801, with 83,680 injured, the Gaza Health Ministry said in its daily report on Saturday.

In addition, it was confirmed that Israeli occupation forces carried out five massacres against different families in the Gaza Strip, killing 70 Palestinians and injuring 150 in the last 24 hours.

This morning, Israeli occupation forces launched numerous air strikes on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, a Al-Mayadeen a correspondent reported, adding that the heavy shelling left dozens of victims and many injured and dead were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital.

According to our correspondent, dozens of Israeli rockets were fired at civilian homes in Nuseirat camp. Many women and children are among the victims, who are being transported to Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in animal-drawn carts and private vehicles due to the poor state of the health system.

There are reports of many dead and injured who have not yet been reached by ambulances. According to the Gaza Health Ministry, the death toll from the bombing is currently at 60 and is expected to rise. However, our correspondent has reported over 80 martyrs.

According to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza, an Israeli special forces unit had entered the Nuseirat camp. When the resistance movement discovered the unit, heavy confrontations ensued. According to our correspondent, it was the discovery of the unit that led to this heavy Israeli artillery shelling and the massacre in the camp.

Earlier, on Thursday, June 6, 32 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured in an Israeli attack on a UNRWA school that houses displaced Palestinians in the Camp 2 area of Nuseirat in central Gaza. The correspondent stated that the occupying force’s fighter jets carried out this massacre after midnight, adding that the bombed al-Sardi school houses displaced Palestinians.

Contrary to the Israeli occupation forces’ claim that they did not kill any children in the Nuseirat massacre, the government media office in the Gaza Strip debunked this false claim by publishing the names of the children killed in the IOF’s targeted bombing of the Nuseirat school.
