Klamath County parents arrested in connection with death of 14-year-old daughter | CrimeWatch

Two parents were arrested today in Klamath County for contributing to the death of their 14-year-old daughter.



KENO, Oregon – Two parents were arrested today in Klamath County for contributing to the death of their 14-year-old daughter.

According to a press release from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office, 14-year-old Fallon Murdock was found “unresponsive in a bathtub and surrounded by misery” on March 30, 2023.

Murdock died at Sky Lakes Medical Center, the press release said. The cause of death was determined to be homicide due to medical negligence.

According to a press release from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Christopher Murdock and 32-year-old Karana Murdock are charged with first-degree manslaughter, first-degree abuse, strangulation, harassment and five counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

β€œOn June 5, 2024, both Christopher and Karana Murdock were arrested and booked into the Klamath County Jail without bail,” the press release said.
