Weekend outlook

The forecast is for it to get drier and hotter over the weekend as slightly drier air moves in from the north. Highs of over 35 degrees are expected from Friday to Sunday. And unfortunately, the models no longer predict that humidity could drop significantly, meaning the heat index will likely remain at 38 degrees or more.

Expanded outlook

Early next week we should see more typical summer weather return. Maximum temperatures will fall to just under 35 degrees as isolated, mainly afternoon thunderstorms return.
