Nina Dobrev from “Vampire Diaries” publishes update after bicycle accident

the Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev has released an update following her recent bike accident, admitting that “life has been looking a little different lately.”

Last month, the actress announced that she was recovering from an electric bike accident.

The star has now shared a new post on Instagram with a series of photos of her recovery, including her leg in a cast in bed.

“Life’s been looking a little different lately,” Dobrev wrote. “I’m swapping the ‘selfie’ for the ‘leg shot.’ Get ready for leg shots because that’s all I have in my camera roll right now.”

The star has since received support in the comments with Lovecraft LandJamie Chung writes: “Feel better, darling.”

Former Love Island USA Presenter Arielle Vandenberg joked: “Every day is leg day for you, Nina!” during breaking Bad Star Aaron Paul said: “You are a rock star!! I’m so glad you can rest. I’m sorry you have to rest but at least you have the best caregiver the planet has to offer.”

The actress confirmed the accident in May, posting a photo of herself riding the electric bike and another of her lying in a hospital bed.

“How it started vs. how it’s going,” she wrote at the time.

In another update to her Instagram stories, Dobrev wrote: “I’m doing well, but the road to recovery will be long.”

Fans will recognize Dobrev as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce in the Vampire Diaries in the first six seasons of the show and returned as a guest in the final season in 2017.

She also had a one-time appearance as doppelgänger Tatia in a spin-off series The originalwhich ran between 2013 and 2018.
