2 people arrested for drug-related offences, says ODPS

ORANGEBURG, SC (WOLO)– The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety announced that two people were arrested Tuesday for various drug and other related offenses.

Victor Maurice Keitt II was charged with manufacturing crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of an illegal/unregistered machine
Weapon and criminal conspiracy to manufacture crack cocaine.

Rashaun Kentrell Hampton-Hammonds was also charged with manufacturing crack cocaine, trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a
illegal/unregistered machine gun, criminal conspiracy to manufacture crack cocaine, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Both men were arrested on May 28 as part of a joint investigation by the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety and the Orangeburg Sheriff’s Department.

“This was an extremely successful multi-agency collaboration that resulted in a significant disruption of drug activity in the greater Orangeburg area,” said the Orangeburg Department of Public
Said security chief Charles Austin.

The incident is still under investigation.
