The Georgia Department of Transportation is announcing another change to North Druid Hills Road, which is already under construction to replace the bridge over Peachtree Creek in Brookhaven.

On June 1, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s new hospital campus on North Druid Hills Road will open a new intersection and sidewalk.

Motorists heading to CHOA will enter the hospital driveway from the new signalized intersection, just east of the old Tullie Road entrance. Tullie Road is closed until further notice for drainage and utility relocation works.

Drivers can expect temporary lane closures, delays and navigation apps that may not immediately reflect changes. GDOT recommends using www.511ga.org.

GDOT plans to improve the intersection of I-85 and North Druid Hills Road by adding a relocated left turn, constructing an additional bridge over the highway and creating a braided ramp similar to Ashford Dunwoody Road at I -285.
