Lynchburg man arrested for shooting in his home

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – According to Lynchburg Police, a Lynchburg man was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on Friday, May 24, for a shooting at a home.

Lynchburg Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1100 block of Sandusky Drive.

Jimmie Richard, 50, of Lynchburg, was arrested. Police say he faces several charges, including reckless conduct, shooting within city limits, brandishing a weapon and unlawful discharge of a weapon inside a building.

According to police, no injuries were reported.
