Police are investigating a fatal shooting near a park in North Carolina

The car appears to have a trash bag on the driver’s side, rear window and a spoiler on the rear trunk. Tonight KARA PETERS spoke to a man who saw the aftermath while walking his dog. I was pretty shocked. I like it and yeah, I was just shocked because I. That has never happened to me. FERNANDO MENDOZA SAYS. He was walking his dog Sunday evening when he encountered a heavy police presence on Highway 158. I just heard screaming and I just wanted to look at it and when I came here all I saw were police officers in a line. According to the Davie County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began at TRUIST SOCCER PARK at 8:30 Sunday evening. A red burgundy Dodge Charger followed a white Dodge Charger out of the complex. The cars left the complex and headed toward Forsyth County on Highway 158. As investigators say the red Dodge Charger began shooting at the white Dodge Charger, investigators say the driver of the white Dodge Charger, 26-year-old Anselmo Martinez, died at the scene. A 17-year-old girl was also shot. She was taken to the hospital and released Monday morning, according to Kara Peters. In a statement from the North Carolina Fusion football organization, additional officials will be at TRUIST SPORTS PARK for the remainder of the week as a precautionary measure. The Davie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after one person was shot and another injured in a shooting at Truist Soccer Park near Tanglewood Park. Officials said the incident first began around 8:30 p.m. when a red Dodge Charger followed the victims, who were in a white Dodge Charger, out of the soccer complex. A section of Highway 158, from Harper Road to the Davie County line, was closed for several hours Sunday evening while officers investigated the scene. This road opened early Monday morning. The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office said the Davie County Sheriff’s Office and the SBI are currently investigating.
