Kim Ho Joong is trying to recruit young talent to cover up a DUI accident for him, police investigation reveals

Trot singer Kim Ho-joong is under investigation for attempting to have a junior employee of his agency handle an accident he caused while under the influence of alcohol. On the evening of May 9th at around 11:45 p.m., Kim, under the influence of alcohol, crashed his vehicle into a parked taxi and fled the scene of the accident.

According to MBN’s investigation, police found evidence that Kim repeatedly called a junior employee, who was only Mr. A, and asked him to deal with the consequences of the accident on his behalf. Another agency representative, Mr. B, reportedly called Mr. A several times for the same reason.

Mr. A, who is not Kim’s manager, ultimately refused to comply, citing fear as the reason. This behavior is in stark contrast to the agency’s previous statements that Kim was too panicked to deal with the situation after the accident.

The police are focusing on solving the matter as they suspect that after failing to get Mr. A to cover up the incident, Kim’s side resorted to falsely making his manager confess to the crime let. The investigation into the incident is ongoing and further developments could have a significant impact on Kim Ho-joong.
