California bikers arrested for New Year’s Day gang attack on “90210” actor Ian Ziering

Two suspected members of a notorious mini-bike gang that allegedly attacked actor Ian Ziering were arrested Tuesday in connection with the viral New Year’s Eve traffic brawl.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Jacob Esteban Hernandez, 20, and Angie Tereza Guizar, 40, were taken into custody and charged with vandalism and assault with a deadly weapon, respectively.

The 60-year-old “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum got stuck on Hollywood Blv. with the group of bikers known as the 605 Minibike Gang. on December 31, 2023.

Shocking video footage shows Ziering arguing with a biker just moments before other motorcyclists pulled up to attack, while Ziering’s 12-year-old daughter sat helpless in the car.

During the attack, the “Sharknado” star was surrounded by at least four bikers who appeared to stop in front of his vehicle in traffic.

The footage showed Ziering throwing the first punch in the fight before running away from the chasing group.

The drivers wrecked Ziering’s car while his daughter was still inside, the LAPD said.

He was later seen comforting his crying daughter Mia.

As a result, Ziering’s $100,000 GLE SUV suffered a cracked driver’s side windshield while the passenger side mirror was shattered into pieces.

In a lengthy statement following the attack, Ziering announced that both he and his daughter were unharmed.

“While I was stuck in traffic, my car was aggressively hit by one of these drivers, resulting in a disturbing confrontation. To assess the damage, I got out of my car. “Unfortunately, this action escalated into a physical altercation, which I saw through for my own protection,” he said a day after the ordeal.

“I am relieved to report that my daughter and I both escaped completely unharmed, but the incident leaves me deeply concerned about the growing audacity of such groups disturbing public safety and peace.”

He continued: “This situation highlights a larger problem of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior.”

“As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely behave in this way, spreading fear and chaos, while the authorities’ response appears inadequate.”

“I have always been committed to standing up against intimidation and misconduct, and this incident reinforces my belief in the importance of personal and community safety,” Ziering added in part.

Hernandez and Guizar were arrested after warrants were served at their respective homes in Rosemead, California, and Los Angeles early Tuesday morning.

Now that arrests have been made, the LAPD is forwarding the case to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, which will decide whether to file charges.

Bail for Hernandez was set at $50,000, while bail for Guizar was set at $30,000.
