Moose kills photographer Dale Chomer in Homer, Alaska

A female moose attacked and killed a man who tried to photograph her Calves, according to Alaska authorities.

The moose attacked two men who came too close to their young in Homer on Sunday morning, Alaska State Troopers said in a statement.

“As they were running through the brush looking for the moose, the cow moose attacked,” Austin McDaniel, a spokesman for the Alaska Department of Public Safety, told the Associated Press on Monday, adding that the cow moose had recently calved , who attacked men as they fled.
