A man is facing charges for trafficking drugs at bus stops in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (KRQE) – A suspected drug dealer accused of conducting business at bus stops in Albuquqerue is currently under federal investigation. Tyler Witt was arrested a year ago after Albuquerque police said he sold drugs to undercover officers and a search of his home turned up thousands of fentanyl pills and other drugs.

He was out of prison awaiting trial until he was arrested this month with a stolen motorcycle. Officials with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said they found drugs and a gun on him that he wasn’t supposed to have as a convicted felon. Federal authorities were already investigating Witt because of a tip that he had transported 150,000 fentanyl pills from Phoenix to Albuquerque. Court documents show Witt admitted to Department of Homeland Security agents that he used and sold drugs.
