Suspect arrested in Temple, Texas robbery on May 1

TEMPLE, Texas – A suspect has been arrested for a suspected aggravated robbery that occurred on May 1, 2024, according to the Temple Police Department.

Temple PD said 30-year-old Larry Blanks was identified as the suspect on Thursday, May 16 and was taken into custody.

According to police, at approximately 8:15 p.m. on May 1, officers were dispatched to the 2000 block of HK Dodgen Loop (in Temple Town Center) for reports of an aggravated assault. When police arrived at the scene, a woman reportedly told them that she had been robbed by a man with a gun while she was sitting in her car.

No injuries were reported in the incident.
