Officers with the Port St. Lucie Police Department arrested 23-year-old Juliette Leon on street racing charges Thursday evening. Traffic police observed two cars traveling 117 mph in the 45 mph zone near the 1300 block of SW Gatlin Boulevard. When officers stopped the 2023 Dodge Charger Hellcat, they saw an 8-year-old child in the Leon vehicle. Leon was arrested for highway racing and child neglect and was cited for speeding. The 8-year-old was released to a family member. Leon was released from the St. Lucie County Jail on $3,500 bail.
