Orlando Police Want To Help You Get Shredded May 18th – WFTV

ORLANDO, Fla. – If you have confidential documents piling up at home, here’s your chance to get rid of them safely.

The Orlando Police Department will soon be hosting a community shredding event that will not only help you clean up but also give you peace of mind.

Police remind residents that safely disposing of personal information helps combat consumer fraud and identity theft that endanger people and communities.

On Saturday, May 18, OPD is encouraging residents to bring outdated documents, sensitive papers and old files for secure destruction on site.

The event will be held at Rosemont Elementary School from 9 a.m. to noon:
