Aaron Sanchez struggles in his first Triple-A start with the Buffalo Bisons

Aaron Sanchez made his first start for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons on Friday and struggled, allowing six earned runs with no strikeouts in four innings of work.

Sanchez allowed five hits, a home run and three walks in Friday’s 12-7 win over the Worcester Red Sox, the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.

According to Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Sanchez recorded one swing and one miss on the 66 pitches he threw, averaging 90.2 mph with his fastball. This was Sanchez’s first outing of the 2024 season.
