First Alert Weather: Current weather for Mother’s Day and a view of the Northern Lights

On Saturday evening it will be cloudy and raining, so the chance of seeing the Northern Lights is slim. The good news is that the overall show on Saturday night won’t be as spectacular as Friday night, so we shouldn’t miss out on too much. Another geomagnetic storm warning for Sunday could mean another intense sighting of the Northern Lights across much of the country on Sunday evening. Good news for us is that the clouds should clear a bit on Sunday night. So stay tuned to News10NBC for the latest updates on the weather forecast.

There will be a chance of a few showers during the day on Mother’s Day Sunday, especially in the morning, with the sun breaking out in the afternoon and temperatures around 60°.

Stay tuned to News 10NBC for updates on a rainy start to next week, but warmer overall.
