Man in his 20s dies in early morning crash on Kellogg, Wichita police said

A man in his 20s driving a Buick died in a crash on Kellogg near Oliver early Friday, Wichita police Lt. Aaron Moses said.

The man died at the scene of the accident. The accident was reported at 12:08 a.m. in the 3900 block of East Kellogg.

“We believe speed is a factor,” Moses said in an email shortly before 11 a.m., adding that the man had not been positively identified. “Investigators are still working to determine exactly what led to the collision.”

A 911 caller said the driver hit the wall along the highway, according to the Sedgwick County Emergency Communications traffic scanner.
