FIRST ALERT FORECAST: Wind is expected to play a larger role next week

As temperatures continue to climb toward 100 degrees, winds will also increase over the next seven days

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – A gradual warming trend is expected through the weekend with above-average temperatures and increasing chances of triple-digit high temperatures in the lower deserts by next week.

Seasonally dry conditions will continue over the next few days along with afternoon breezes continuing to produce areas of increased fire weather.
