Buckingham Township Police Officer and School Resource Officer Chris Shaffer assisted the school in its investigation to ensure the safety of students and staff, the principal wrote.

“Although there was no threat in this situation, it is important to remind your students that possession of replica weapons is a violation of our district’s Weapons Policy 218.1 and will have serious consequences if brought onto school property,” wrote Shillingford to parents. “The safety of our students is our primary concern and we appreciate your continued support
to make Holicong a safe place for everyone.”
