HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) – A shooting incident early Wednesday morning in Hesperia sparked an intense police investigation after numerous shots were fired into a field.

On July 24, 2024, at approximately 5:56 a.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting in the area of ​​Orchid Avenue and Catalpa Street.

When officers arrived, they learned that the driver of a white vehicle had fired numerous shots into a field and fled the scene.

“During the investigation, officers found evidence that confirmed the report,” said sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Huerta. “No reports of injuries or homes being hit were found.”
