Two construction workers die of electrocution in bizarre accident in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh

Kaushambi (UP): Two men were killed and three injured after they came into contact with a high tension wire while constructing a water tank in an area under Sarai Akil police station on Sunday.

Station house officer Vineet Singh said the incident occurred in Ghosia village when some iron rods lifted by the labourers touched the power lines above.

Pankaj, 26, and Girdhari, 29, died during treatment at the hospital, while Omveer and two other workers are still undergoing treatment, he said.

They all came from Bareilly district.
