Sassy Baby bee rattles recalled, choking hazard exists – WGAU

About 3,000 Sassy Baby brand baby rattles have been recalled after it was discovered that the wooden base can detach from the bar, causing the plastic rings to detach from the toy.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the rings pose a choking hazard to babies.

The Brilliant Bee Rattle features a light-up plastic bee attached to a wooden stick with three plastic rings and connected to a wooden base. There is a child-safe mirror on the bottom of the base. The bee has non-removable batteries.

The rattle was sold for $16 in independent toy stores nationwide and online at Manhattantoy.com from May 2024 to June 2024, the CPSC said.

Parents and caregivers should remove toys from children and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

You can also contact Manhattan Toy for more information. No proof of purchase is required for the refund.
