Group sought for nearly $600,000 in damage to a Shelter Island home

Police are searching for a group of people who vandalized a house on Shelter Island.

According to police, the three people and at least two others caused nearly $600,000 in damage to a home in the Silver Beach area. The incident occurred last year.

According to police, two 18-year-old suspects from Sayville were arrested on Tuesday. Police say they are investigating whether the group also broke into a second house.
