12 people arrested, 1 wanted after theft investigation

According to officials with the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), 12 people were arrested and one other person is wanted under investigation for theft. On June 18, detectives from the DCSO’s Special Investigations Division’s TRACE team assisted officers with the Denton Police Department in investigating a theft at OPE of America in Denton. During the course of the investigation, detectives followed up on leads and identified the suspects involved in the theft. Ward also received a summons for driving without a license and displaying an incorrect license plate.On June 21, Skilar Hall and Mason Moore were identified as suspects in connection with the theft of the chainsaws. Hall was charged with possession of stolen property, larceny, and obtaining possession by false pretenses. Moore was charged with grand larceny and possession of stolen goods. On June 22, Angela Hardin was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl with intent to sell and deliver, sale and delivery of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, aggravated possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and child abuse. Tera Hardin was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and deliver, trafficking methamphetamine by possession, possession of alprazolam, and child abuse. Watkins was also served with multiple warrants from Guilford and Brunswick counties. Ashley Musick was arrested and charged with possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. On June 25, detectives identified Felesha Wiles as the person attempting to sell the stolen chainsaws. Wiles was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property, identity theft, and attempting to obtain property by false pretenses. On June 28, Kelsey Bedford was arrested as a wanted fugitive for evading parole. Bedford fled into a wooded area near the home she was staying at, but was arrested after a short chase. Casey Passmore was arrested on outstanding warrants for failure to appear out of Davidson and Randolph counties. Detectives identified Colton Smith as the driver of the vehicle during the incident. Smith was arrested and charged with larceny, possession of stolen property, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of burglary tools, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. After searching Smith’s bedroom, investigators found stolen mail, driver’s licenses, social security cards, forged and dishonored checks. Smith was also charged with possession of stolen property and 17 counts of attempted forgery. Smith was additionally charged by Lexington Police with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, obtaining property by false pretenses, and bank card theft. Jamie Liston was arrested and charged with possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, 17 counts of possession of stolen property, and one count of attempted forgery. Pamela Bundy is wanted by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office for the crime of maintaining a dwelling for storage of a controlled substance. The investigation is ongoing. On June 19, Nathan Ward was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Ward was also charged with driving without a license and using a fake license plate.
