Vehicle hit by gunfire in roadside aggression incident on Wyomissing Highway

Wyomissing Police are investigating a road rage incident in which shots were fired from one vehicle at another.

The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Monday on the highway that runs through the Berkshire Mall area.

Police learned that an unidentified man sitting in the passenger seat of a black Honda sedan fired a handgun as both vehicles were traveling from Route 12 westbound onto Route 222 southbound/Route 422 westbound in Reading.

The victim’s vehicle was hit by two shots. No one was injured.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call Wyomissing Police at 610-375-6102.
