Shooting in Wilson | 1 dead and 1 injured after shooting in Wilson in Downing Street

WILSON, N.C. (WTVD) – According to police, one man was killed and another injured in a shooting in Wilson on Friday evening.

Shortly after 9 p.m., officers from the Wilson Police Department were called to 1201 Downing Street for a report of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they found Anthony Marquis Barnes, 43, of Wilson, suffering from a gunshot wound. He died at the scene.

According to police, a second victim, Rodney Earl Farm, 43, of Wilson, was found with a gunshot wound. He was taken to ECU Health Medical Center for treatment.
