Orem police seek information on manhunt for sexual assault suspect

OREM, Utah (ABC4) – The Orem Police Department used social media on Thursday afternoon to ask the public for help in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault case.

Police said they received a call about an assault at the Orem Recreation Center shortly before 3:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

The police were informed that a sexual assault had occurred in one of the leisure center’s changing rooms.

“The adult victim was able to escape, but the identification of the man is still pending,” Orem police said in the Social media post.

Police were able to obtain surveillance camera footage of the suspect and are asking the public for help in identifying him. The suspect has a tattoo that looks like a skull on the back of his right hand, according to footage obtained by police.
